You’ll find an email template and a directory of congressional contacts that you can use. We are also providing this link to the NAIPI resources page will also update this page with relevant articles and information about the ongoing threats to this nation’s science and innovation enterprise.

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protects several fundamental freedoms: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and the right to petition the government. While you may not be able to speak on behalf of your organization (nor should you unless you obtain approval to do so from the appropriate authorities within your institution), you can exercise your First Amendment rights to speak as a private citizen about how your programs are being harmed. You can report on the loss of jobs, loss of money coming into your states, having to turn away students for research development programs, and the resulting dismantling of research infrastructure that took decades to build in the EPSCoR/IDeA states/territories.
