The EPSCoR/IDeA Foundation is launching Science Works Here, a storytelling campaign to shine a light on the impactful research being conducted across the country in EPSCoR/IDeA jurisdictions.
As part of the campaign, we’re interviewing and requesting comments from researchers, faculty, staff, and program leaders to share the positive impacts their work has made on students, communities, jurisdictions and the nation.
When reaching out or participating, consider emphasizing how your program creates jobs, attracts investment, inspires students, and builds research infrastructure that strengthens your state and community.
The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protects several fundamental freedoms: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and the right to petition the government. While you may not be able to speak on behalf of your organization (nor should you unless you obtain approval to do so from the appropriate authorities within your institution), you can exercise your First Amendment rights to speak as a private citizen about how your programs support necessary research that fuels innovation.
We want to hear from you. Click the buttons below to submit comments detailing your experience or request a short, 15-30-minute virtual interview with a member of the EPSCoR/IDeA Foundation team.
Together, we’ll show the human side of research and how scientific research fuels innovation.
