EPSCoR/IDeA Coalition and Foundation Annual Meeting 2027
Please save the date for the 2027 Annual Meeting of the EPSCoR/IDeA Coalition and Foundation.
This year’s gathering will take place on Monday, February 22, 2027, at the InterContinental Hotel - DC Wharf in Washington, DC.
An email with the registration link and additional information will be sent out in early December.
As in previous years, February 23 is set aside for in-person or virtual visits with your congressional delegation. Program Directors/Principal Investigators, junior investigators, government relations professionals, and others within your jurisdiction who contribute to EPSCoR and IDeA advocacy or wish to become more involved in Coalition and Foundation initiatives are highly encouraged to attend. Participation is especially encouraged from individuals engaged in or affiliated with the following programs:
Established Programs to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) funded by:
- Department of Defense (DEPSCoR)
- Department of Energy (DoE)
- National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
- National Science Foundation (NSF)
- US Department of Agriculture (USDA)
- National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA)
National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) Institutional Development Award (IDeA) programs:
- Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE)
- IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE)
- IDeA Clinical and Translational Research Programs (IDeA-CTR)
- IDeA Co-Funding
- IDeA Regional Entrepreneurship Development (I-RED) Program
Association with one or more of the above programs is not required to attend the meeting. This meeting is free and open to all who have an interest in and/or desire to participate in EPSCoR and/or IDeA programs.
The registration deadline will be Monday, February 8, 2027, and is required.
