Scientific Support for Ukraine

Science is s world-wide community. What affects one area of the world, affects all. Below is a short list of resources offering support for Ukrainian scientists and how you can lend your support.

• US National Academy of Sciences Safe Passage Fund: Helps provide funds for the joint project of the Ukrainian and Polish academies of science.
• DOE Office of Science: Currently-supported researchers can request supplemental funds to accelerate scientific discovery by hosting or collaborating with students and scientists who have been impacted by the conflict. Read Dear Colleague Letter.
• Support Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières
• Add your lab to the Labs supporting Ukrainian Scientists spreadsheet
• Visit the #ScienceForUkraine Twitter page and website to offer academic refuge
• Individual academics can reach out to Ukrainian institutions through the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education to contribute to current needs that include translating aid requests, drafting research proposals, and dealing with placement requests.
