SOUTH CAROLINA: 2 students receive NASA EPSCoR awards

Two SC INBRE students from Presbyterian College located in Clinton, SC – Marigordon Varner and Grace Wanliss (shown in photo with her father and professor of physics, Dr. James Wanliss) received research awards from NASA EPSCoR/SC Space Grant Consortium worth $7,500 each.

“Everyone is familiar with changes in the weather on earth, but most don’t realize that there is also weather in space,” said sophomore Grace Wanliss.

Grace and Marigordon both presented at SC INBRE’s 2021 Science Symposium in January.
