Nevada EPSCoR recently highlighted postdoctoral researcher Andrew Andrade, in the lab of Ecology component lead Jay Arnone at the Desert Research Institute at the University of Nevada. Andrade presented at the Nevada EPSCoR Track 1: Harnessing the Data Revolution for Fire Science (HDRFS) meeting held March 18-19 in Las Vegas on preliminary data using infrared imaging to study how fuel composition can influence burn dynamics and post-fire plant recovery.
