2026 EIC/EIF Annual Meeting

The 2026 Annual Meeting of the EPSCoR/IDeA Coalition and Foundation will be held in-person on February 23, 2026.

The meeting is free to attend and open to anyone with an interest in EPSCoR and/or IDeA-funded programs (no registration fee required).

Program Directors/Principal Investigators, junior investigators, government relations professionals, and others within your jurisdiction who contribute to EPSCoR and IDeA advocacy or wish to become more involved in Coalition and Foundation initiatives are highly encouraged to attend. Participation is especially encouraged from individuals engaged in or affiliated with the following programs:

Established Programs to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) funded by:

• Department of Defense (DEPSCoR)
• Department of Energy (DoE)
• National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
• National Science Foundation (NSF)
• US Department of Agriculture (USDA)
• National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA)

National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) Institutional Development Award (IDeA) programs:

• Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE)
• IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE)
• IDeA Clinical and Translational Research Programs (IDeA-CTR)
• IDeA Co-Funding
• IDeA Regional Entrepreneurship Development (I-RED) Program

Association with one or more of the above programs is not required to attend the meeting. This meeting is free and open to all who have an interest in and/or desire to participate in EPSCoR and/or IDeA programs.

The 2026 Annual Meeting of the EPSCoR/IDeA Coalition and Foundation, a free event, will begin on February 23 at 9 a.m. The presentation of the Fred Taylor Award will take place during a luncheon program from 12 to 1 p.m. The presentation of the Joe Danek Award will take place during the cocktail reception from 5 to 6 p.m.

February 24 is reserved for either in-person or virtual meetings with your congressional delegation.
