NEW HAMPSHIRE: NH EPSCoR Hosts Inaugural NH-LIFT Annual Team Meeting

Almost 70 team members gathered in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire last week for our first NH-LIFT (Long-term Investment to Fuel Transformative Research) annual team meeting.

We kicked things off with a networking luncheon with NH-INBRE researchers and are already seeing opportunities for new collaborations. Our summer undergraduate students shared posters on their research findings, our project PI, Dr. Marian McCord, provided an overview of our progress to date, and keynote speaker Mike Skelton, President and CEO of the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire, presented BIA’s Blueprint NH 2030 report.

Our evening team-building activity, a musical guessing game, revealed surprising gaps (and talents) in our collective knowledge, reminding us that while research may bridge disciplines, not all of us can bridge the gap between disco and hip hop.
