OKLAHOMA: OK-INBRE wraps up FY1 of INBRE V.

Combined funding provided by NIH & the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education supported 6 RPI, 4 Collaborative, and 3 Mini research grants, along with 4 Equipment grants, Supplemental Research Awards, Curriculum Development, Travel awards, and STEM educational initiatives across our state.

Notably, we were able to support 60 summer undergraduate research internships for 2026. OK-INBRE was represented by 22 attendees at NISBRE, with 14 presentations, 3 invited talks, and 2 student travel awards. NSU undergraduate Matt Girard and his faculty mentor, Dr. Sapna Das Bradoo, represented Oklahoma at the 2026 Take Your IDeA Science to the Hill event.
